Dr Catherine Barnett is a Queensland trained Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon who is passionate about providing excellent care for all adult and paediatric patients with ENT conditions.

Dr Barnett completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2011. She subsequently completed residency at multiple hospitals in Brisbane, including the Princess Alexandra Hospital. During this time she completed a Masters Degree at the University of Queensland.

In 2015, Dr Barnett commenced advanced training Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Dr Barnett recognises the importance of working with patients alongside their general practitioners and welcomes the opportunity to consult on all conditions of the ear, nose, and throat.

In 2020, Dr Barnett received scholarships from the Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons to undertake further subspecialty training in skull base surgery.

Dr Barnett has a public hospital appointment at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, and sees patients privately at ENT Clinics at Benowa and Gold Coast Private Hospital. She operates privately at Gold Coast Private Hospital, Pindara Private Hospital and Pindara Day Procedure Centre.
