“Prospective outcomes in nasal valve surgery”
Dr Robinson reviewed all of the rhinoplasties which he had performed over the last 12 months. Dr Robinson performed 49 rhinoplasties over the last year. Rhinoplasties which had been followed up for 6 months were included in the prospective study.
All of the patients in the study had an improvement in their nasal obstruction symptom scores. All of the patients had an improvement in the cosmesis of their nose as judged by the rhinoplasty outcome evaluation questionnaire.
Dr Robinson will continue to evaluate his results using patient based outcomes and plans to present at the ENT scientific meeting in 2015 which will be held in Sydney.
