DR MATTHEW CRONIN
Dr. Cronin, was born and raised on the Gold Coast. He graduated medicine from the University of Queensland in 2003. He went on to complete his fellowship in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in 2013 in Queensland. He furthered his studies abroad completing a fellowship at the prestigious Guys and St Thomas Hospital in central London in 2014. Here he trained with some of the best surgeons in the world specializing in head and neck surgery. He returned to his beloved Gold Coast late in 2014 to start private practice.
His special interests include:
- Head and Neck surgery
- Thyroid surgery
- Paediatrics
- Sinus surgery
- Laryngeal surgery including voice surgery
- Snoring surgery
He has a special interest in teaching junior surgeons as well as medical students.
He is passionate about research and learning new and innovative techniques. He has published and presented at both the national and international level.
