DR JOHN O’NEILL

Dr John O’Neill is a consulting surgeon who deals with disorders of the ear, nose and throat. In 1994 he graduated from Queensland University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Dr O’Neill then went on to study in the surgical field, specialising in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery.

His Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons was completed at the beginning of 2004. He is qualified in paediatric and adult otolaryngology, head and neck surgery.

In 2004 Dr O’Neill then travelled to Oxford, England to further his studies, obtaining a Fellowship in Rhinology, which is one of his special interests. Dr O’Neill studied under Mr Grant Bates, a leading Rhinologist in the UK. Following this Fellowship in 2005 Dr O’Neill was Consultant Rhinologist at Milton Keynes Hospital, England.

In 2006 Dr O’Neill started private practice on the Gold Coast with the aim of providing the highest standard of care for both paediatric and adult patients with ear, nose and throat disorders.
